    Default Mounting a Warn 8274

Well things must happen for a reason, the T-max winch I was originally looking at was sold out! then I just happened to come accross an 8274 in great shape for $600, new cable, two remotes, roler fairlead etc. Going to pick it up today.

So where do I find a mounting plate for this winch to fit a series. Anyone make them.

If you can find any old 8274 plate cheap enough.. then get it and modify to fit.

This was for a Ford pick-up I believe. Free!!

    Good luck! Josh

I have seen and do like the Pangolin bumpers.

Daurie, how much sag did you get with the winch and bumper on your RM springs

Here is a plate the previous owner had fabricated. The winch wasn't included in the sale. I've since wire brushed it and repainted it with rustoleum. I'd sell it to you but it wouldn't be worth the shipping expence to Canada. Pangolin4x4 has the nicest ones

I built my own plate to sit on the frame horns, following the contours with tabs below that also bolt to the frame to stop any flex. jim

Barely enough to notice. I probably will not keep the tire on the hood anymore though.
