Thread: Over heating Disco II

    Default Over heating Disco II

Disco II overheated, anti freeze out the tail pipe. New head gasgets installed, heads pressure checked and machined, all new top end gasgets installed, started car up same problem. If heads, head gasgets, and top end gasgets are good, what other ways can anti freeze get to exhaust valve(s)?

    Damn that sucks!!

Well you said the heads were machined so I assume that means skim cut to clean up on the mating surface.
It could be a slipped liner, problem with the head gasket install or the intake gasket?
