    Default stage1 paint question

recently painted the side and rear galvanized strips that were starting to show some rust. Used a "hamered" grey spray paint, looks pretty good, although I'm sure new galv would look much better. My stage 1 had a front bumper that was painted black, the rear also, to give it a defender look. stripped the front bumper painted it also, looks good. My question is what color would the rear bumper/frame normally be on a 1982 stage 1 ? is black the standard color or would it be the grey galv look? Will try to [post some pictures soon. Thanks Cheers

Normal - factory - the frame was black painted steel. If you did a galvy frame swap - then all bets are off.

Mine has a galvy rear - becasue I welded a glavy replacement crossmember on.
