Please help. I can't remove wheels. I was able to take off lug nuts. Is there is a lock nut some sort off? Or there is something I am doing wrong?

If just trying to remove the tire/wheel... kick the tire hard, or use a rubber mallet to whack it... Beat on one side then the other it will eventually come off.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I need to remove nut axle right? In addition to lug nuts?
Not to just remove the wheels.... just lug nuts.

This is very common. I have literally had to do exactly what Joey suggested, and lay underneath the thing and beat on the tire with a rubber sledge. Beat on a particular place, rotate the wheel, beat on it again, then repeat.
The tolerances on the mating pieces are too tight for easy removal.
Only the lug nuts need removed to remove the wheel.

You'd think with all the oil under most Rovers, the wheels would come off more easily!!!
HEHE!!
Thanks. I was going nuts with this project.
