Default Vent Control Knobs - replacements?

My search has come up dry and I'm sure someone else has come across this problem before. When dismantling my vent controls the black plastic (bakelite, whatever it is) disintegrated.

Can you get replacements? I'm not looking for concourse options, so I am open to other suggestions.

    Thanks all!

Yes you can. I am not sure if our host has them or not.

I've definitely seen these on ebay, and quite often. Along with the spam postings for starters. Try there if RN doesn't have them.

They were NLA for a long time, but I think there's a guy in Hong Kong or Thailand who sells them on ebay. He has a few rare parts that are being reproduced.

They also turn up frequently on ebay.co.uk

IIRC they are relatively cheap, and since they are light weight they don't cost much to ship.

Super duper thanks! I was even looking again last night and I don't know how I missed those ones on eBay. Purchased and on the way!

And yes, by purchasing vent knobs it helps me to further procrastinate from the really important things...like having the starter and alternator installed, and the wiring done, and well basically everything.
