Default Trade Classic Mercedes for SI, II or III or ?

I have a lovely 1972 Mercedes Benz 220d (diesel) with no rust, no dents, nice paint, gorgeous interior, A/C, stainless exhaust (2009) from the engine all the way back and everything working except original Becker radio. 4 speed manual floor shift, fog lamps, roll-up windows, factory block heater and good matching all-weather radial tires.

Want to trade straight for a Series I, II or III Land Rover (or Disco ONLY with manual tranny) - the year is unimportant, the condition is crucial. Must be in as good condition as my vehicle. My husband and I now live in Maine and have several Mercedes but need a good Land Rover! Email: Lady_Bacon@myway.com or telephone: (207) 338-5653.

Default Sorry Kevin, just a 220d classic...

Sorry Kevin, just a 220d classic... Interesting thing about the W115 chassis: they're unibody and most were prone to rust. Why this one isn't, is beyond me. "Sofia" (her name), is simply a grand old Dame and a survivor.

    Default Cancel my Mercedes trade...

Well, my 1972 Mercedes Benz 220d is no longer up for trade - just bought a 2003 Discovery this afternoon...
