Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the toro overdrive, or any info on them. I've been given on in bits it all looks in good order except for one thrust bearing, are these available?

Al Tosi at DAP used to be the distributer of those units, give him a ring.

I believe the Toro is the same or very similiar to the Fairey but with a larger case that held a (needed) bigger oil supply.

I remember Toro o/d's being sold at one time by Bearmach in the UK. I wrote to Santana once about my Toro, and they told me that Santana and Toro were not the same. I believe Ike at Pangolin 4x4 has a used Toro with an owner's manual for sale, and he might have a parts diagram with it. Jim Hall has a page on it, too:
