Default Installing OE rover heavy duty springs

I love it when the rave manual says this can be done in 8 steps! One is remove 2 nuts securing anti roll bar link. All the nut does is spin and if their is a flat on the bolt for a wrench I can't find it! In any case bypassed that and got the springs and shocks out.

Any idea which end is up on the springs? One end is wound slightly tighter/closer together than the other. My guess is that end goes up.

    Any thoughts?
