Thread: manual key

    Default manual key

    i have 2 manual keys for my p38. whenever i unlock the car with them it sets off the alarm.
    if i unlock it manually with the key fob key it does not does this.
    am i doing something wrong here?

    When locking and unlocking the P38 using the key fob you may be "Superlocking" the vehicle. The valet keys will unlock a "Superlock" when following a proper key unlock/lock key sequence.

    If memory serves me right... you need to unlock and hold.... lock and hold... unlock and hold. The parking lights should illuminate and all locks should go to the upright position. Otherwise, the vehicle will sound the alarm.
