    Default Range Rover options

I have two Series LRs but the wife needs a new vehicle and is considering a Range Rover. She and I both like the look of the older RRs but the main concern is best realibility and ease of service in the RR range. Must be a four door. What year(s) and why? Thank you for any assistance.

I have a 05' LR3 & a 87' RRC recently sold a 99' P38a 4.6 HSE. with the P38 it was a love/hate affair, $500-$600 brake jobs every 6,000 to 12,000 miles, drove it 92,000 miles w/ 100,000 mi warranty spent roughly $17,000 in repair & maint loved it, was very capable but was glad to see it go - if you buy one, beware, get warranty! the LR3 nearly didn't make it home because of the P38 experience, but one 24 hour loan by the service dept, a warranty that covers everything except gas, brakes and wipers even the wife was convinced very much in love! the 87' has about $2,500 in it totally runs great, not rusted expect some queer oddball repairs that may have you scratching you head at times but theres no abs, no multiple computers, no air bag suspension etc. take mine home for less than $3,000 you'll not regret it or get an LR3
    Cheers,
    Terry
