Hello all:
95 Discovery 3.9 has trouble cold starting. Typically turns over and will grab, gargle a bit, then correct itself and run well. Some days after a heavy rain, it doesn’t start at all. I replaced the coil and cleaned all the connections and it’s started when wet out. Today, beautiful and dry morning - coldest in months, won’t fire up at all. Seem to be getting gas because it will fire a bit, then die. Sometimes caressing the pedal makes it go, but not today. Was just trying to make it to the weekend, because cap/rotor/plugs/wires are coming in the mail for Labor Day tune-up. Car has thrown Code 48, but not since I cleaned the IACV a few months ago. Any ideas? Need this thing dependable going into winter.
Cheers,
