Maybe the Defender, or whatever the new name turns out to be, would be a simpler vehicle, not built for metropolitan areas, so no :- ABS, SLABS, SRS, etc. or in short : going back to the basic, easy to fix/maintain vehicle that we all love (and hate.. sometimes).
Lets hope we can understand the evolution ...

It sends as if it will be released for the 2010 market but nothing is set in stone at this point. Things are tight lipped and will most likely remain as such since the company was sold again.
