Need a defroster hose for Kodiac on a 67

Looking for a defroster hose for my old kodiac heater on my 67 series.
I got two kinds from Rovers North. First one was 4" in diameter and did not fit (too small), although it was made with quality construction.
The second one was 4.5" diameter, and fit around the heater nossle-thingy just fine, but could have been a bit smaller, but was made with such poor quality vinyl that it ripped between the wire cording every time I tried to install it.
Does anyone have any ideas on where to get a really sturdy defroster hose in the 4.5" size (can be smaller, but bigger in diameter than 4")? Or if you got one, perhaps an older one, I'll buy it!
    Thanks!

You might try McMaster-Carr. They have a lot of flex hose options by the foot.

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

I would recommend any of the ducting seen here:

It is MUCH higher quality than almost any automotive product you can buy.

McMaster-Carr emailed me back telling me they do not have what I need.
Very strange, as the page Chris sent me to their website had a whole lot of different hoses....the silicone hoses may be better than the vinyl, anyone want to make a comment?
          NAPA next....

McMaster Carr has a bunch of different stuff that will work.
This hose is from them. I can look up the number if you need me to.

              Nice dash!!
But I am talking about the air hose for under the hood.
Do you use the same stuff? That stuff looks a lot like the one I tried that ripped real easy.....

                Heater hose

I use flexible dryer hose from the hardware store. Works great and its cheap.

                    Heater hose

I should have added that I use the aluminum type hose as opposed to the vinyl hose.

works fine but don't last a long time.

I used hose from mcmaster too, it was tough as nails and I had no problems at all. you need to read through the catalog and read the descriptions of the various materials temperature ranges etc etc etc etc
