    REPLACED BATTERY/COMPUTER NEEDS RESET

I have a 2000 RR HSK 4.6 and just had my battery replaced at a local auto shop. When I got home and shut off the car, the status display ran off a list of problems such as: windows not set, LR Front Window not set, RH Window not set, rear window not set, sunroof not set, etc. My security system was disabled, but I was able to reset it by putting the key in the driver's side door lock, and (while holding down the lock button) lock and unlock the door 3 times. However, I don't know how to reset the warnings (false) about the windows. Any suggestions that will save me an expensive trip to the dealer?

    Read your Owners Manual also

    4. WINDOWS NOT SET error - To set the windows, open and close each window one at a time, leaving your finger on the button
for an extra second or two. You may have to repeat twice for each window. The sunroof is similar; fully open it, then close
it, then tilt it, then close it. (Leaving your finger on the button an extra second or two after each action.)

This had happened to me as well after my battery had died I tried to replace it and then my 2002 RR turned into and exspensive paper weight......I had to get it towed to the dealership and they said that the driverside lock went faulty which made the RR think it was stolen or something to that effect. I replaced the lock and no problem since.
