Series 3 LHD Clutch Hydraulic Hose Pics

    Hello Forum-

I'm replacing my sieve of a slave cylinder and while I'm at it, replacing all of the hydraulic lines back to the original routing. Currently, the clutch hydraulic pipe comes off the master, and drops straight down (dangles freely) to connect up with the slave. Proper routing for a Series III LHD is to exit the master into a pipe that runs along the bulkhead, drops down into the flex line which is anchored to the bulkhead, then a third line that exits the flex and mates up to the slave.

Does anyone have any real pictures to share that shows the correct routing of the pipe that exits the flex line and connects into the slave? The part number is NRC3287. If this routes up over the back of the engine, my concern is that the pipe will be close to the engine and be exposed to engine heat, especially in the summer? Should this be a concern? I have been unable to locate any pics on the internet of what the correct routing of this pipe looks like.

    THANKS!
    -Ben

Thank you for the picture. That's exactly the pipe I have. Is the proper routing of this pipe up over the backside of the engine flywheel area?

Not a RHD model ..Pics are from a LHD NAS 88 Ser III 2.25L petrol
