    Diesel purge 2.5 na?

Are you doing a diesel purge on your 2.5L NA from time to time?

I use this, once a year, on my old Mercedes diesel and it does help, just wondering if there was a reason not to on the Land Rover?

    Thanks

It's supposed to clean injectors, etc. I've used it on both my 616 and 617 Benz engines....didn't really see a difference in anything but it can't hurt. Diesel Benz guys swear by it.

Sounds like the Opti Lube XPD that I run so that my pump is properly lubricated. That stuff is supposed to clean injectors too. I've Opti Lube for over a year with no bad result.

Just checked your website, I love the 616...

That you have been my diesel engine of choice but looks like the conversion wasn't that easy...

Great job and thank you for sharing.

Keeps injectors clean and removes carb deposits. It really helped my old 617 engine, starts better, does not smoke (as much) etc... Never used it on a non-bosch injector pump though....

The 617 turbo in the 109 is even better.

                Oh boy!

That, is looking really really sweet!!
                Any videos?

Is that a special bulkhead in the 109? Same adaptor plate than for the 616?

                  2.6 NADA bulkhead
                  It's mated to an NP435 4-speed so it's a different adapter.

It is kind of different, you unhook your fuel lines and run it straight:
OK, so I'm no Wingnut, but I've really been looking to make some sort of contribution to Fred's, so here goes. I've been a fan of LM products ever since I had my first VW, a 1990 Fox wagon. Well, this has got to be the easiest thing to do and is definitely recommended for any TDI with more...
