    Finally on (off) the road !

    3 months of doing almost nothing but work on my Land Rover in the evenings..... And it's finally finished. Well almost - there are still some projects I want to do on it.... just for fun of course.
    Work accomplished thus far:

    4 new Tie rod ends
    4 new brake rotors
    4 new brake calipers
    7 new brake lines
    flushed brake system
    New brake pads
    Coolant reservoir cap
    New serpentine drive belt
    New power steering hose installed
    4 new shocks
    2 new shock tower mounts
    Repaired nicks on windscreen
    Replaced cracked headlamp
    New radio, with new wires to 4 speakers
    New cup holders

    Remove broken base amp / speakers from rear door and cover hole. Now more room in trunk.
    Removed carpet from trunk; replaced with synthetic rubber.

    Repair cracked storage walls in trunk

    Repair rear door seal.
    Removed / repaired and painted bumpers

    Removed / replaced RR mud shield in wheel well

    Removed old mud flap brackets and installed new rear mud flaps

    Manufactured and installed wire mesh rock screen to front of vehicle.
    Added ladder for roof access
    Replaced missing headlamp washing nozzle
    Replaced missing fog lamps

    Replaced heat shield on underside

    Remove rust spots & treat with anti-rust primer.
    Painted truck all a dark green colour

    New leather boots around shifter sticks

    Spare tire cover

    new rubber floor mats

    greased all fittings

    new grease in swivel housing on wheels

    Replace faulty brake light switch

    Install front differential rock guard

    Drilled drain hole in bell-housing, tapped it and fitted with plug

    Re-attached 4 door skins that had separated at the bottom.

    Plus various little things….
