Can anyone recommend a vehicle tranport company that I can trust. Personal experience would be best. I need to transport a car from Illinois to Massachusetts.

I used U-ship. Very happy with the truckers, And most of the car transporter use U-ship.
I have shipped a $300k Aston Martin with no problem just make sure they have Insurance to cover the cost for replacement.Kevin
