Hello, has anyone out there swapped a series II or series IIa hard top rear door to a soft top tailgate? Any help or a link to a video would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Rear door to tail gate swap
Yes, I've done it and it works great. Give me a few days and I'll post pics and narrative. -
Start with the lower hinge as a guide. Use shims and/or a helper to keep the gate level and square on the sides while you drill holes in it. Keep it level and in place while you mark the placement for the second hinge holes on the gate and rear of the rover. Use the second hinge as a guide, marking thru the holes as you hold the hinge against the gate and body.
