Defender with Series Body?

I've always liked the look of the Series models much more than the Defender. I'm curious - has anyone ever customized a Defender to look like a Series? The front end would be the biggest difference. How difficult would it be to replace the wings and the radiator grill? I'll bet Land Rover would sell out of a model that had the new features of the Defender (a/c air bags, etc.) with the classic look of a Series II.

I have seen a 110 roof and windshield and front end put on a 109 before. I have also seen a 109 roof and windshield on a 110. I dont imagine it would be that difficult.
