Here is the article from the BBC.
A sad loss at any time, the parents are members of the Lincolnshire Landrover Club, my local club in the UK

That's a very sad story. In an ideal world, Parents are simply not supposed to bury their children. After reading the three articals in the bbc news, it really makes me wonder how, or, if the children were properly seated. Its hard to imagine how a parent would put 7 children safely in a 110, and if they were all in proper child seats.
There was a thread about the safety of a Defender, on another LR forum. I have an NAS 110 and have to agree, it's just not a safely designed vehicle for passengers. Even the most recent issue of the Rovers North newsletter speaks of the rigid design as a factor for it not being allowed back in the US. It's a large steel box with all sorts on hard angular surfaces. Try putting 9 eggs in a shoebox and giving it a shake. I just can't imagine how devastated the parents must be, and what it will be like to live with it.
