    NAS 90 questions

    Hello there,

Can someone take a pic. of the rear door handle, a locking type and non-locking type, for a side opening tailgate of a NAS 90?
I have a customer in Europe having some problems with fitting the door handle through the tailgate apeture that was part of the manufacturing process.
    Thanks

        Thanks, you guys !!
On the 2nd set, you can see a blanked off hole for the door lock barrel to come through. Anyone have a pic. of the external locking handle, also?.

        Really appreciate the assistance.

            Les,

Just installed a '95 model year rear locking latch in my '94 (wanted to be able to lock the rear with a key externally). After a bad hail storm mine's at the body shop- but I'll have it back in about a week. I'll take a shot and post it then if no one else beats me to it. I would imagine someone out there has a '95 NAS tailgate that they might be able to post in the meantime so as to not keep our friend Les waiting!

                  Les,

that's just what mine looks like. It currently doesn't have the latch installed (just see holes in the door)- I can take a pic of it in that state if you need that too. I've wondered if it would look better with one of the plastic lock cylinder grommets from the front doors installed. Haven't checked to see if there's enough space to fit one.

Thanks, guys. Just what I was looking for!
We've been noticing current supply of the door lock grommet is not a perfect fit. The hole needs to be increased by 1mm or so.
                    Anyone else have this issue?

                      Les,
I got a couple of the lock cylinder grommets (not from RN, it was early on before I discovered this place) and they fit the cylinders but the hole in the door is too small. I called the place I got them from and was told that's what the originals superseded to. Eventually I found some used ones, I really didn't want to enlarge the holes. Apparently the grommets are for a Defender. They now reside in my bin of "useless plastic bits that I may find a use for someday." The vendor offered a refund, but I figured the postage would just about equal the value of the grommets so in the bin they went.

                        bkreutz,

                        Thanks for the feedback.
I thought that we may be only outlet having issues, I deduct that this is all that is available.
