Help disconnecting speedometer (110)

I need some help disconnecting the speedometer on my 110 so I can get at the cable harness in the rear on the dash.

I've searched around and haven't found any instructions -- the cable doesn't seem to unscrew, so what's the secret?

Squeeze the locking clip and pull the cable.

Ooh, that's my problem then. Part of the clip is broken, and I can't squeeze it in.
