Hi!
I have a customer with an early 90 (I've been told it is the second of 3 press cars from the '85 launch of the 90) that is currently fitted with a pair of SU carbs on the V8.
The engine tends to ping and generally runs flat at higher rpm. The needle jetting in the cabs is BAK, and although I have found numerous sites for needle sizing, I haven't stumbled across a recommendation or application site.
Anybody know what is supposed to be in there?
Ignition timing is mostly spot on, the points and condensor are healthy, engine temperature is controlled with a now functioning electric fan, but problem persists.; have not checked coil output hot, history of engine is unknown.
