Hi There. This is my first post -- and first LR -- so please forgive any evident ignorance on my part...I'm learning!
I purchased my Disco about 2 months ago and am already noticing that the brakes aren't as responsive as they were/should be -- I think I'll use the opportunity to teach myself how do the work. RN has two types of kits, the proline (at around $100 a set) and another (at $200), which I'm assuming is the genuine LR parts (though it doesn't say so).
Any reason why I should go for the more expensive ones and not the proline? Is there that much of a difference in wear, safety, reliability?
Any help you can offer would be great! Thanks...

Also: I've found scattered pieces of how-tos on this and other forums, but so far no step-by-step instruction, beginning to end. I've downloaded the Rave CD but haven't burned it yet so don't know what's on it...will that give me all I need to know, or is there somewhere else I should look?
