    tranny squeeks in drive

    My 98 disco has a squeek while in drive but, when I shift into Neutral while still rolling the sound goes away. I drove in reverse as well with no squeek. Any ideas?

      It may just sound like a Transmission issue, check the S-Belt tensioner, it could be the cause of your squeak.

      But on the off chance it is not, it may be U-Joints... do you grease them at every oil change?
