U joints?

My '94 Disco is vibrating in between 2000 and 2500 rpm (all gears). My suspicion is ujoint problems. It has 144k miles and they have never been changed. Then my "check engine" light just came on. We checked the fluids and spark plugs etc and everything appears OK. It still runs fine. I am planning on changing all 3 U joints. Any other idea/ suggestions/ thoughts?

I would pull the inspection cover & make sure your flexplate isn't cracked & shifted. This can cause major vibration issues. Not a bad idea to check the u joints too.
