95 disco window question

i just bought a parts car 95 disco to use for parts to rebuild my 95 disco. the windows do not work on parts car. i have tried switches but no luck. i am thinking motors or ecm! any way is there a way to manually let windows up? again this is a parts car and i would just like to roll windows up until the strip down of parts car is complete. thanks

If memory serves me right the motor is powered by two wires. Depending on the polarity the motor will spin up or down.

Remove door panel. Locate electrical connection. Disconnect plug. Apply power and ground. Motor should spin. After figuring out which to apply 12v, the window should go up.

You can un bolt the actuators and zip tie the windows up in place, I did this while repairing my acutators. Very easy, might take 15 mins total.
