    Front Door Actuator Unit

I just installed a brand new front door actuator unit in my 1996 disco because whenever I used the automatic door opener I would have to manually pull the sill locking control to open the door. Needless to say I installed the new actuator and it still doesn't work. There's not much to the install, so I don't think it was installed wrong, but is there an adjustment needed to make this work or is there something else I'm missing?

Usually when anything electrical quits on Land Rovers it's a grounding issue. So, maybe the wiring plug just needs a good clean. Also check the length of the wiring for breaks or cuts.

There is an adjustment on the vertical rod from the door latch assy to the sill button.
Also, have you tried to lubricate the door latch?
Do the remainder of the door latches lock with the remote?
