    Service Lights ON

I have an 01 Disco that has 3 lights on in my dash.
TC - traction control, ABS, and downhill descent.
Can they easily be reset? They have been on for two years with no change in performance. should i be concerned?

Also, My alternator recently died while driving. I drove till she quit at a stop sign. Replacing with a new one took care of the problem but since then my odometer is flashing on and off steadily. Any ideas what that means or how to reset that?

Thanks your opinions are much appreciated.

Ah, those are 'the three amigos'.

They are the fabled bane of D2 owners' everywhere. If you go to discoweb.org and search 'three amigos' you'll get dozens if not hundreds of threads discussing/cussing/lamenting them.

I've learned to treat them as an unexpected guest that drops in from time to time. My wife says 'Olay' when the ding-ding-ding sounds. Now I do, too.

There are a variety of potential causes: one or more bad ABS sensors, a bad ABS modulator, or a voodoo infestation.

To give you some idea of the extent of the problem,

You have completed your D2 pledge period. Welcome!

When they are on you do not have ABS, traction control or hill descent control.

No clue here on the odo.
