how often to reset service engine soon ligjt

Hi I just got my LR2 discovery II and I am so happy with it Even when I know that the gasoline is getting more expensive. I basically use for the weekend, I am buying the manual so I can get familiar with it. but for now I just would like to know how often does the service engine soon should be set to come on again.
