    Preval Paint Ststem

Has anyone ever used the Preval paint system to paint their Rover? I do not have a good enough compressor to use a real spray gun. I just painted my 109 top with rustoleum "almond" rattle cans and it actualy turned out pretty decent so i figured I might be able to do a decent job with single stage bronze green paint through the Preval system. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I did it years ago, and was disappointed with the outcome - due in large part to the low pressure and low volume characteristics of the Preval system. It may be different now, but a the time I was not happy.

I recently painted my truck with custom-mix rattle cans from towerpaint.com and was extremely pleased. They have a German aerosol system called SprayMax that worked great - very nice results, even from a Dub like me. They will mix the exact color using Land Rover paint codes - I ordered DuPont Centari enamel in Pastel Green and in Limestone. They nailed both colors, and were consistent through multiple orders.

    Just my $0.02.
