    Seat Belt Help

We finally got around to installing our pick up top on our Series III 88. It really looks great. We also have a 3/4 hoop set and canvas top to cover the back where the dog loves to ride.

We now need help placing the seat belts. We have static shoulder belts that were attatched to the top rail of the rear tub. This area is now covered by the spacer needed to install the pick up top on an 88. Where do they now go and what do we need to install them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Would simple lap belts suffice?

Would the hardtop brackets our host sell work with a pick up cab?

That's what I was wondering. They're all listed here.

They hook to a bracket in the corner of the cab near the roof, here's a pic from my 109:

Pick up cab seat belt brackets

I need the same thing for my '59 88 with the pick up cab. I am under the impression that items 18 & 19 on the link provided by SafeAirOne are the correct parts. I have heard that the "L" shaped brackets used in station wagons do not provide enough rigidity. I would welcome better information or experience to the contrary as items 18 & 19 are a bit pricey!
