Les, is that the original diesel from Marleys truck or a nice replacement?

Bob,
There was no engine when I went to view it. We purchased it stateside, rebuilt it and sprayed it the correct Series III Engine colour, heat paint treated the valve cover and exhaust manifold, a real crisp sounding 2.25 diesel, if such a beastie exists !
The donor engine has some history also, same age as the Marley, though this spent time in East Africa, then to Nigeria and to Stateside when a USA citizen brought it over to rebuild the Rover. It was replaced over here with a 2.5 NAD. Thanks for asking, all of this will be shown in greater detail as the rebuild continues.......Les Parker

So, the vehicle is being handed over to the Marley Foundation today, Feb 6th. This would have been Bob Marley's 70th birthday, may he rest in peace. Some pix of the handover to follow. Sorry I could not be there for the hand-over ceremony.Les Parker

Looking for pictures, this is about all I could find of the finished vehicle.
I'm sure a lot of work went into it, but too bad it didn't get a real high-end restoration. Matte-blue paint?
