    rear axle case

I am looking for a good rover rear axle case in northern NY / Northern VT area for a 69 IIA. Do have some parts if a trade is acceptable.

May want to tell the audience if it's for an 88 or 109 (or if it matters at all).

I've hardly ever found a used one here in the NE that was worth swapping vs. fixing and using what was already there. Some of the guys\gals out west can probably hook you up if you're willing to ship. If they still make them I'm sure our host would be willing to sell you one too....

If you can't find a good used one, try contacting someplace like PA Blanchard. I bought a new rear axle case for my SIII from them. It was really cheap, like $125 and shipping wasn't too bad IIRC.

If Scatterling doesn't have what you need, I'll have a complete rear axle, strengthened case, with 25k genuine miles coming off my 109 next month.

          I'll send you pics tonight...

Oops - I corrected the mileage to the actual "25K" miles.

Ok this begs a question. My truck is a 69 IIA 88". Are there any differences in a 109 rear axle such that it would not work on an 88"
Looking at my 71 109 and the 69 88" nothing stands out.

Spring and shock mounts are different.

checked again. 109 axle will not work on the 88", the spring perches are further apart on 109.
