I was planning on wiring up all of my gauges this weekend but my voltage stabilizer is bad. Is there is a 3rd party / after market solution that I can pickup at the local auto part store. If not ill have to order it and get the part next week.

Yes the stabilizer should be fine with a '71 Land Rover. I've sold many stabilizers to Land Rover owners with no problems.

I'm not sure what you mean by 4 connections, if you mean drive 4 gauges then this is the maximum it can drive and you will need bolt the earth tab to the chassis of the car to dissipate the heat. This is described in the instructions.
