Series III Fuel sending unit float..

Is there any way to purchase JUST the float for the fuel guage sending unit and not the entire unit? I pulled mine out the other day, the little plastic ball was filled with gas, I patched it with JB Weld, but...its obviously leaking again and my gas guage is reading little if at all again. The whole unit it kind of pricey. Any ideas?

save yourself time and some more headaches and get the complete unit for only 73.45. you will thank yourself when you just replace the float and then find out somehing else in the sending unit does not work.
