    Can you identify these parts?!

So was cleaning up the garage and had some more leftover bits from the project. Any clue on these (the gray rails I had powdercoated with everything else thinking they were part of the rear seat assembly....wrong, I think, as I finally reinstalled those last weekend!).

    Thanks,
    Julian

The second one up from the bottom is a hinge mount for a fold away step--probably for the back door.

The bottom one is a steering box mount. It attaches to the chassis bulkhead upright.

gray pieces are the trim piece that goes along the bottom of the rear windows on a HT. It clips over the lip directing any water that gets into the channels to the galvy drain channel below.
The bottom piece is a part of the steering column clamp arrangement that connects to the bulkhead

Hmm... Just looked it up in the SIII parts catalogue. It's not what I thought it was. Strange that I can't find it anywhere in the steering or bulkhead section though...

Mark -You were right, it is for the steering column. Mine, a 67 2a, uses the same thing.

Thanks all! The gray pieces......will I have to dismantle the side panels to install them?! If so, I may keep them stored away for a future date!!

you would need to remove the 2 bottom window channels to install these.
