    Front flex lines

Well, I figured out where the 5-way junction goes, but I'm still struggling with the left front brake line. I can make it fit, but only if the flex line comes off the front. I thought it comes off the rear, though. Anybody got the truth?

Don't know what you're working on, but here is how the LH front line is done on a SIII.

Mine's a '58 SII 88". I think it's different; the line runs on top of the frame not under. I see your flex line comes off the front, but I'm not sure if mine is supposed to or not. The brake slave has the connection pointing rearward (unless I mixed them up side to side, which is certainly possible for this bonehead), suggesting that the flex comes off the rear.

Also, project looks fabulous. What did you use for paint on the engine?

Yes, it's different than a SIII. Should be the same as my old 63 IIA: The hard line runs along the top of the chassis, then turns toward the rear to connect to the flex hose.

I used Detroit Diesel Alpine Green for the engine. The color's not exact, but close enough.
