    hub wheel stud holes stripped

I have two of the stud holes in my hub tat is stripped out. Anyone know the best way to fix this? I was thinking of drilling/tapping the stripprd holes to the next larger size and then have studs made to match.
What are the threads on a wheel stud? Also anyone know the steel used for studs?

Are these the wheel studs you're talking about? Aren't there press-in wheel studs available for SIIIs? I'm pretty sure I've heard of people replacing the threaded wheel studs with the later press-in type...
