Hold on..... which Defender wheels?? Do you mean like, D110 steel rims, or are you talking about D90 alloys?

Alloys won't fit over the hubs. The bolt pattern is fine, but they can't get on there w/o drilling out a lot of the center of the wheel, which you don't want to do.

keep in mind that NAS 110 steel wheels are unique to that truck only. They have a deeper dish with offset, but will fit fine. I actually have the ones off my 110 on my 2A and they don't look right.

              re: 110

              Well this guy has them on a '95 D90, so I think they're a little different...maybe

Those are the rims to get to make your Series handle better and allow
you to have a better turning radius. The 110 rims aka...ANR1535..16x6.5 will give you wider stance by about three inches.

The Steel disco rims will work as well...they are 16x7.

Part number for NAS110 rims is ANR1534PM. (PM isn't stamped on the rim, just AMR1534)According to George, at RDS, they are over $200ea now, so if the set your buddy has is an NAS110 rim (not the standard 110 rim) get them and resell them.

In any case, the previous poster is right in that it will increase you stance width, but it will have no effect on your turning radius; That's strictly a function of wheelbase and angle of the front wheels.

                        grab them.

If you put the same diameter tires on earlier 16: wheels the tires will rub on the chassis and frame before you reach your old steering lock. More offset with the D110 wheels will help this and perhaps not reduce your turning radius but they will at least increase it less than the same tires on earlier rims...

                          Ah Yep!

The Disco I steel wheels fit just fine one a Series

They are the widest steel wheel that the factory makes. You do want to use the Late IIA wide diameter single sided lug nuts with them though.

                            Custom Series Rims

I thought you might be interested in the rims I made from Series centers
and Ford F250 hoops....they look stock and are 16x6 with 3.25" offset .

I got 4 old series one rims from a friend, drilled out the centers...
took a trip to my local Pick-Your-Part and bought 4 early 90's
F250 rims for 7.99 ea. I took a lot of work to knock out the centers
and weld them back up...but I think they came out nice!
