    Brake Servo/Booster Question

A couple of times now the truck has stalled out and the culprit seems to be that crap got stuck in this hole on the brake servo. first time was some leaves, second time was an old plastic bag that some how came up in to the engine bay. Is it suppose to open like that? or is there a breather/valve that should be there. Thanks.

Definitely should be plugged, but no valve, just a plug. I used the allen screw/plug out of my old servo...... think it was 3/8" coarse (double check that!).

Hi Julian, I'm confused, when I plug the hole (with my finger) the truck stalls out?

^^You have a giant vacuum leak, and your carb is probably adjusted to compensate for it. After plugging the hole, go back & readjust the carb.

yeah.. temporarily plugged it with a 3/8 bolt and about 15 washers until I can find the correct plug. retimed and readjusted the carb, runs better than every.
