pickup top and high back seats

does anyone know if there is an issue with high back seats and pickup tops
i thought i read it some where put i couldnt find anything

Aaron, all you need to do is take a look at the top of your existing seats, in relation to the top of the tub bulkhead to see you'll need to set the highbacks so vertical, you'll feel like you've got a broomstick up your butt.

I have highback seats in my 88 and run a pick up cab (for a couple more days). Yes the seat back will be a little more upright, but I don't find it objectionably so. If you are a taller guy (I'm not) you may find it a bit more uncomfortable.

my 109 is a pickup and is my daily driver. I have highback seats and sliding seat bases. I am 5'10" . I drove it from PA to MAR and back last year and it was very comfortable.
The front of the 109 tub sits about 2" further back than the 88 but the bracket used on the 88" to install the pickup cab puts the rear sliding window as far back as in a 109". You should have enough room to make the seat sit recline enough to be comfortable......and no broomstick near your butt...
