Has anyone had problems with the plastic headlight buckets?

Howdy, I just purchased new headlight buckets and they are plastic. I was wondering if anyone has had them melt or deform in anyway?
    Thanks in advance. Tasi

I believe mine have been there for about 12 years now, and not a problem. I think it is one of the few places on a rover where plastic is better.

If the lights are getting hot enough to melt or deform the plastic you have a bigger problem to worry about.
