as most comments had lead to it being a III. I would agree. The dash and bulk head are giveaways. The engine also looks Series III
But, the synched should be first and second also. If not, then the trans is from a II.
I have a 71 IIA, so I do know how they drive! I would double check the shifting again. Check the VIN.
