    Series I hoop set

A buddy is about to sell his recently restored Series I, and the one final thing he needs is a hoop set for it. I've done a quick search but found nothing.

Anyone have any leads on where to hunt for a used or new set? Or just do most people just fab up for that old a Series?

    Thnx

My first stop if RN doesn't have one is Ike Goss and if he doesn't have one go to All Wheel Trim in the UK.

      Hi,
What year is the Series one. There were two different types of hoop set, flat and curved.

Having owned a '56 S1, the main issue is what Wheel Base do you have? My '56 had an 86 inch wheel base. If your '58 is an 88 inch wheel base you should have no trouble finding a hoop set from our hosts. If it's an 86 try Dunsfold LR in the UK (dlr@dunsfold.com) They are Series 1 specialist and have a great museum/show room. I almost wish I hadn't sold my Si. Good luck to your Bud.

the 86 and 88 hoopsets are the same - the extra wheelbase is at the front not the back

Whoops! My bad. The space was need for the 2.25 engine. Thanks for the correction.
