Defender Fender wheel arches on Series III

Will Defender wheel arches fit on a series III? I have teh chance to pick some up pretty low cost but want to make sure they will work.
    Thanks

no. The series and defender wheel arches are different shapes and sizes. The series arches are more round and not as open. You would have to trim your fenders to the defender shape/size in order to get their flares to fit. As illustrated in the 11th photograph on this page: http://www.expeditionlandrover.info/GRdetail1.htm

I have a set of 88 wheel arches. They have storage scratches and no mounting hardware but have never been installed. Asking $300.

The most common approach around these parts is to cut conveyor belt.

Be absolutely sure that you want to poke holes in a Series wing.
