    Spacers for Series III

First post on this forum. Just bought a 1976 Series III which has wheel arch eyebrows. Thinking of moving the wheels out a couple of inches to fill the arch but know nothing about wheel spacers. Are they a viable option, what are pros/cons, and where's best place to procure them?

    Cheers

    Welcome.
Would be much easier and cleaner to just remove the wheel arches. They don't come that way anyway.
But, if you like them and want to keep them then I believe our host sells them. The facts, myths and opinions on wheel spacers are all over the internet so you're bound to find lots of each.

I have a hard enough time getting my Landrover between the trees with the wheels stock so moving them out would just add to the problem. Just saying.

Forget spacers. Buy different offset wheels. I have allied wheels on my rig.Click image for larger version

          Hey Blue Bomber,

That roll cage is awesome. Is it custom or who did you buy it from?

The roll cage is custom and is tied to the chassis. It saved my bacon recently. Click image for larger version
