    2.25 petrol block petcock

Can that petcock on the drivers side of the block be replaced by a bolt, maybe with some gasket material? My petcock started leaking and I don't drain the case at all. Anyone know the size/threads on that thing?

Probably not a bolt--I doubt it's a straight thread, but probably a tapered pipe thread. You could probably use a plug.

But why not just spend the $13 and get a new petcock from our hosts? http://landroverparts.roversnorth.co...x?model=602915

I believe that's the same part number for the 2.25, but verify (p/n 602915).
