    IIa door hinge question

We installed some new middle doors on our series IIa 109 and they need some tweaking to close correctly. I cannot figure out how to get to the nut on the back of the bolts holding the lower hinge to the door post. As always your advise and help is appreciated.

Just going from memory here, but aren't there big oval holes in the B and C pillars to access the hardware within?

Big ovals for the upper hinge bolt.

You've got to get underneath to access the lower hinge bolts. Lie on your back with a torch and all will be revealed.

HINT: Use a UK torch not a US torch, though either will work, I suppose.

LOL, yeah, when I first read that I was envisioning using a Mapp gas torch, and then my brain translated the UK speak to "flashlight"!
Bad gas mileage gets you to some of the greatest places on earth.
